Hey guys!

as I already said I'll be at NYCC,artist alley booth J10...
I was insanely busy so I couldn't do pre-show commissions and I know many of you wrote me asking to be in the pre-order commission list but I had no time to make it...so first-come,first-served!
It will be the first time for me drawing at the artist alley,I'm a bit nervous,but I know you all will help me to make it a special one!
So I wait for you there...
I won't be full time at the booth,because of convention schedules (interviews,panels,etc...)
and because I'll share my table with 2 friends David Messina and Federica Manfredi...
so I don't know how many commissions or sketches I'll be able to do...
but I'll do my best to do as much drawings as I can!

this is a preliminary sketch of Siryn of a piece I'm doing for 1st Annual Charity Art Auction at New York Comic Con to benefit the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is internationally recognized for its pioneering research and treatment of children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Ranked one of the best pediatric cancer hospitals in the country, St. Jude is the first and only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center devoted solely to children. Included in that vision is that no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay.

Hey,

a lot of people asked me on Facebook to see the Loki piece finished...
...you know,fan's wish is my command,so here's the final piece!
I recorded the process this time ,too...
I condensed 2 hours in 10 minutes.When I started I had no idea about the subjet,I decided the pose,the clothes,the idea during the artistic process...that's why you see me trying many options in the video.
I don't know if cool people has always clear in their mind what the final result should be..it happens rarely to me...that means I'm not cool enough then...damn!
Infact before tha version I posted here,I tried one with Loki pushing Thor's head underwater...
WRONG! Thor is a badass,can't be drowned by anyone!!!^_^
enough of my b******t,hope you like the drawing,and enjoy the speeded up artistic process.

I know...I know...I'm not posting that much lately,but work is swallowing me up,more than usually does.
Soon I will update my black and white gallery,and hopefully will start doing commission again.
For now,in a little break of time,I did this,rough and unfinished but I'm enjoying a screen recording program,it's so much fun!I did that only to use the program!

I know...I usually don't travel the world attending in every convention around the world like many collegues of mine do...and I apologize for that,coz I really want to have the chance to meet you folk,from every part of the world! The last 2 years were insanely busy,and unfortunately full of sad things...and handling deadlines were the only thing I barely did.
I promise I will try to be around at the next cons!I owe it to you guys!

Fuori tempo massimo,
faccio un post sul mio personale dopo Lucca.
Per me Lucca è da sempre sinonimo di alcol amici,ressa e shopping il tutto condito con leggerezza e relax.
Purtroppo per me quest'anno è stato un pò diverso;dopo molti mesi di isolamento mi sono ritrovata immersa in un fiume di gente e amici con cui relazionarmi e a volte ho avuto un pò di difficoltà.La stanhezza accumulata sulle mie spalle si è fatta più pesante ed è per questo che non sono stata proprio al mio top durante questa edizione;quindi prima di iniziare con i ringraziamenti volevo chiedere scusa se sono stata poco comunicativa e in certi frangenti anche schiva.

e ora "grazie time":

Vorrei ringraziare Mario Taccolini dell'edizione Arcadia che ha organizzato lo stand "Artist for hire",evento sperimentale :) al quale ho partecipato in questa edizione 2010,e tutti quelli che vi hanno partecipato.
Ringrazio tutti i fan che sono passati attraverso tutta quella bolgia infernale solo per darmi un saluto o presentarsi di persona dopo "l'add" di facebook...
Mi scuso con tutti gli amici con cui non ho avuto molto tempo di parlare tranne che per un ciao volante trascinata dalla corrrente della folla.
Un altro grazie è dovuto alla Panini che ha presentato il volume Marvel Made in Italy 2 di cui ho realizzato la copertina e che mi ha ospitata per una signin session,dove finalmente o potuto dare un volto all'editor che mi ha seguito durante il work in progress della cover Matteo Losso.

Durante questa Lucca ho avuto anche il mio momento da fan imbarazzata quando ho chiacchierato con Ken JM Niimura (il grandissimo artista di "I kill giants")...la sua umiltà e dolcezza è direttamete proporzionale al suo talento,è stato davvero un piacere conoscerlo.
Un grazie va anche allo scrittore Ivan Brandon con il quale ho avuto modo di fare delle chiacchierate interessanti durante una cena supercalorica lucchese :) Ivan è davvero uno tosto ;)

Rimanendo in zona olteroceano non posso non ringraziare il mio amico C.B. che rivedo sempre con enorme piacere.

Un pensiero e un ringraziamento speciale va ai dolcissimi Davide e Danielle che mi hanno coccolata,fatto sentire a casa e che sono riusciti a farmi davvero ridere,cosa che non mi capita più spesso in questo periodo.

un abbraccio forte ai miei amici Manfredi e Roberto.

E il grazie finale va a Stefano e Fabiana ai quali io e David abbiamo scorccato un passaggio,grazie davvero siete stati degli angeli :)

Last week I've been in Milano for a small convention and I took advantage of the free time to visit the exhibition "Egon Schiele and his time"...
I had the chance to see many pieces of Schiele...and many sketches of Klimt too...

my first time with " copic "markers...I've bought a TON of them,so I need to find a reason why I spent so much money,learning to color is a good reason I guess...
we'll see...it was fun...I've found a pencil sketch of Emma in my sketchbook so I tried to color it...

in these days I've no time to draw for myself,you know,DEADLINES and personal issues...and that's terrible for me,I feel like I can't breath...BUT when no one's looking at me,hidden in a dark corner,where my consciousness can't reach me...I do stuff like that...who knows when and IF I finish this...so enjoy it as it is!
